Library Instruction for Spring II

Just a friendly reminder that it is not too early to begin signing up your classes for library instruction sessions. Please contact me to arrange a session for your students to receive library instruction that involves research strategy and library usage tips, including how to use the Leatherby Libraries’ online resources (e.g., electronic databases for finding peer-reviewed articles). Library instruction sessions are conducted through your campus’ Polycom videoconferencing system (this real-time video technology enables me and your students to hear and see each other; additionally, they are able to view my computer for research demonstrations).

Please note that library instruction sessions are course-specific and are tailored to meet the unique research needs of your class. I am willing to work with you to create the most useful session based on your class assignments and objectives.

To request library instruction for your class, please contact me at aknight@chapman.edu or (800) 344-5756 Ext. 2. You can also view my availability at http://tinyurl.com/346coq. I am available to provide library instruction Monday-Friday, 5;30p-10:30p. Weekend sessions are also available by appointment. If you would like your class to receive library instruction during the first few weeks of the Spring II session, you should contact me as soon as possible since those time slots tend to fill up very quickly.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Annie
